Dupree Creative puts Seeland on the big screen!

Watch out for Seeland in the new British thriller, A Lonely Place to Die. Not only is the thriller well made, exciting, featuring a good cast and a clever plot, it has great clothing too!
Seeland is playing a part in the British thriller ‘A Lonely Place to Die’, as one of the costume suppliers to the cast. Dupree Creative was approached by the production company for various costume requirements and Seeland ‘fitted the bill’ perfectly. Seeland supplied various items of clothing for the cast, mainly for ‘Darko’, one of the leads played by Karel Roden, also seen in ‘The Bourne Supremacy’, ‘Hellboy’, ‘Blade II’, ‘Orphan’ and ‘RocknRolla’ to mention a few. Other main cast members are Saturn Award nominee Ed Speelers (‘Eragon’, ‘Echo Beach’ and ‘Witchville’ and Australian Golden Globe Nominee Melissa George (‘Roar’, ‘Mulholland Drive’, ‘Dark City’ and ‘Down with Love’).
The shooting of the film began in May 2010 in Scotland and at the world premier in Ashville, USA in April 2011 the film was awarded ‘Best Film’ and ‘Best Director’. The film also received good reviews after the Premier here in the UK in September: ‘A tense, well-made mountaineering thriller with some spectacular effects that could well take the Gilbey brothers (Director and Co-writer) to Hollywood’ - Peter Bradshaw, The Guardian.
