Fit Freddy - branding
This is the type of work we do best - brand development across a mixture of media.
The brief was to promote a new horse feed product called Shape-Up.
As the name would suggest, it's aimed at owners of out-of-condition horses.
Our approach was to invent a new character called Fit Freddy - the In-Shape Neddy! The larger than life Freddy formed the introduction to the product through Freddy's '5 a Day' educational approach.
We created POS, leaflets and a host of great promotional activity. This included a Fit Freddy head worn at events which won over enthusiasts - both adults and kids, and taught them about horse healthcare and what Shape-Up could do for their equine.
Also a cartoon strip ran for several weeks prior to the launch of Shape-Up which gave Freddy a personality. This sped up the affinity between consumer and brand and encouraged serious traffic to the Fit Freddy website that we also created.
See Fit Freddy at: www.fitfreddy.org where you'll see great downloads and educational advice.
