An inexpensive solution to reach a broader market.
The story was that we devised a great competition for Saracen for data capture purposes that needed more awareness.
Alongside POS and on-page advertising in equine magazines, we needed to strike a cord with a broader audience. The competition was offering the chance to star in a Saracen advert alongside some famous horse riders.
The pantomime horse provided the fun element, while Carl Hester volunteered to be the fall guy.
All Saracen adverts used the same theme of people sitting on feed sacks supporting the strapline we created 'for those who know what they're on'. It was important to carry this theme through all media.
